“Everybody has the opportunity to shape their own role, right down to the guy on the factory floor.”
After shopping at the Coles across the road for 3 years and never really noticing the little cafe across the road I am very glad that a good friend suggested we grab a coffee there one morning…
So for a long time there has been a video shop around the corner from my parents place in Adelaide, as long as I can remember actually, and it was great, cheap and had it all, so when I drove past while back home the other week I was a little surprised it had gone and been replaced with a cafe… Adelaide isn’t renowned for good cafe’s in the suburbs so I was a little apprehensive but thought I’d give it a go… Bloody glad I did!
You jump out the pool and need a caffeine hit and some breakfast before you rush off to work for the morning? How convenient that there is a cafe attached to the pool, and they use Campos beans, couldn’t be that bad.

It was with much fan fare that we finally made our way to Single Origin Roasters to try their famous brew. It wasn’t without parking issues, but I tell you what, it was worth the issues!
Darlinghurst is full of hidden gems that lay quietly in the side roads. Salvador is the perfect example. A place that I never would have found if I hadn’t needed to visit the office next door…
Once again Thursday rolls around and our regular spot is still closed (I hope you are enjoying your holidays!!) and being unimpressed with last week’s choice we thought we would follow another regular squad round the corner to Schibello Caffe to see what it had to offer.
On the busy Elizabeth Street in Surry Hills you could be mistaken by the corner takeaway shop feeling you get as you walk past Juice & Java, although you might be casting a judgmental eye too soon as the coffee is worth stopping for…
Not in the main stream areas of Surry Hills or Redfern, St Jude’s cafe is one not to miss.
Having driven past this place several times, and it standing out as a place to definitely add to our list, we managed to get there one morning after swim training, and I’m very glad we did.
