This Shed is definitely not at the bottom of the garden, although it is on the edge of a huge expanse of grassy parkland, nor is The Shed, the typical ‘man cave’ shed, however after going on Thursday morning, I can say it’s a place I would easily go to escape the world.
Ruby’s Diner is located on Bronte Road, part way between Bronte and Bondi Junction (ok nearer to Bondi Junction). Having just expanded to double the size (that’s got to say something about the popularity) this place was buzzing and also one of the few places to still be open over the New Year period. There was a definite hum about the place, and although it looked packed on the approach, there was still plenty of options to sit. Even sitting inside feels like outside with the whole front of the cafe being large windows that completely fold back. It’s very cool.
